Wendy Lavallee
Wendy has a special ability to work with college bound students, ultra motivated ones with a clear sense of direction, and ones who might need help setting and meeting goals or realizing their strengths. Regardless of their path, she believes this is a special age filled with promise.
After graduating with a BA in Government, Wendy intended to pursue a career in teaching but was swayed by an interest in marketing, which led to additional studies, an MBA, and a career in brand management. She is a skilled listener, project manager, and strategist who knows what questions to ask and which factors to prioritize.
Wendy is an associate member of the Independent Educational Consultants Association (IECA), and she abides by their best practices and ethical code of conduct.
She regularly reads higher education publications, attends admissions webinars, and visits colleges. Her days are filled with researching the different academic, social, and financial aid offerings of colleges and universities located throughout the US.
Wendy lives in CT with her husband and three children. And, as your child’s college advisor, Wendy looks forward to help guiding them on their college journey, drawing on her love of all things academia, and her unique ability to see and set a path forward.
