Our Comprehensive Package includes a 5-phase process in which the student is guided through a college search and application journey that is completed once the student commits to a final college acceptance and decision.

Timing typically begins in fall/winter of Junior Year and ends by May 1st of Senior Year.

PHASE 1: SELF ASSESSMENTS & INITIAL COLLEGE LIST ✔️

  • Facilitate student self-assessments including strengths and talents, learning style and aptitudes, interests, and college location, size, and academic preferences.  

  • If applicable, advise parents on financial assessments to help their student craft a financially feasible college list. 

  • Phase 1 culminates in the delivery of a list of approximately 20 schools for the student and family to consider. 

Timing: Monthly meetings – Fall/Winter of Junior year.

  PHASE 2: RESEARCH & PREPARATION ✔️

During Phase 2, we guide the student through: 

  • College research and visits 

  • Demonstrated Interest 

  • Senior year course selection 

  • Senior summer year activities planning 

  • Teacher Recommendations 

  • Brag Sheets 

  • Setting up their Common Application 

  • Testing Strategies (SAT/ACT)

Timing: Bi-weekly meetings - Spring of Junior year 

 PHASE 3: ESSAYS & THE APPLICATION PROCESS  ✔️

  • Work with the student to craft a personal statement and complete Supplemental Essays, if needed (including 4 one-hour essay coaching sessions) 

  • Complete the Activities section of the Common Application 

  • Outline Supplemental Essays or Other Application Needs 

  • Interview Prep (if applicable) 

  • Fine Tune the college list and determining college application deadline preferences (ED/EA/Regular). 

Timing: Bi-weekly meetings – Junior year Summer  

PHASE 4: APPLY ✔️

  • Complete and submit college applications

Timing: Bi-weekly meetings – Senior year Fall 

PHASE 5: DECISIONS ✔️

  • Aid the student and their family in weighing application outcomes and decisions. 

Timing: Meetings as needed - Senior year Winter/Spring
